All roads lead to where we are.

This passion of mine might have officially started in December of 2020, but it unofficially started in the 70’s when I was a kid watching my father make neat, practical things for our home in his garage shop. As I grew older I also started building things for my own home. After years of this I started to fall in love with furniture construction. It’s practical, useful, and, when built correctly, will last for generations. It took me years to figure out what my purpose was going to be and I had finally found it. Out of a need to fill my time with building furniture, and running out of things to build around my own home, I began taking on official projects in my spare time.

The last few years of doing this has completely exceeded my expectations. I had no idea when I started this business that I would end up having pieces in multiple homes, businesses, and churches. God is good and I’m thankful to Him for this talent.

Many people ask me where the name of this business comes from. My middle name is McKay and I just liked the way A.McKay’s rhymed. Simple.
